Here's a picture of Noah during his first bath in a real tub and he handled it very well. Sean and I expected screams and tantrums but instead we had a very content baby the entire time. The bath seemed to calm him and he fell asleep shortly after he got out.

Happy 4th of July or actually 1st of July! :)
Noah and I attend a weekly breastfeeding support group at St. Mary's hospital. It has been a wonderful place for me to get advice and support. Noah enjoys going and making new friends and I have met a lot of new moms. Today's meeting was a celebration of the 4th of July (since our next meeting would be after the holiday). We were all instructed to wear red, white, and blue for a group photo. Here are some pictures of our big outing. The first photo is a circle of friends. Can you find Noah? The next photo is of mom and Noah looking patriotic. The last photo is of friends from the group. Macie is Noah's twin/girlfriend. She was born on the same day as Noah, 2 hours later. She and her mom were in the room right across the hall from us in the hospital and they have become good friends of ours. The lady on the far right is Laura. She's our lactation consultant and she gives us lots of good advice! We love Laura and often visit her more than once a week.

And they call it puppy love
We were posing Noah for birth announcement pictures and Benji thought he'd get in on the action too! Maybe Benji thinks Noah's his brother? Let's hope he get's along better with him than he does with Bentley. Shortly after this picture....both were fast asleep. :) If Sean had been in this picture, it would have been a perfect photo of my three favorite guys. (Sean would have been asleep too.)

Bath Time
Here are some photos from Noah's 3rd bath. It took a few tries to perfect the bath routine. The first two times ended in pee and poopy disasters so we thought not to post those so Noah's self esteem wouldn't be dashed. As you may notice the diaper is on for the majority of the bath. In fact, we've learned that the "lower region" should be the last area cleaned and it should remain covered right up to the time it is to be cleaned. Not only have we perfected our technique but we have also improved our speed! Now if we could only get our dogs washed as quickly! :)

Noah's First Church Service - Sean's First Father's Day
Noah loved his first visit to church. He stayed awake for the Praise music but fell asleep during the sermon. We were told to sleep when he sleeps; but thought that might look odd having us stretched out in the back of the church snoozing. For Father's Day, daddy got to pick out Noah's outfit. He looked so handsome. Everyone especially loved his little shoes.

More Pics
The dogs are doing ok with him. They've been really excited. Baylee has become protective over him and tries to keep the other dogs away. Must be some motherly instincts in her. Benji has become overly excited (and a bit jealous I think). And when Noah starts crying and we are holding him in our lap, Benji tries to lick his feet. It's like he's trying to soothe him. I was afraid Bentley would be a handful, but after a couple days, he's more mellow than ever. Our ADD dog is now the calmest dog in the house. What's up with that?

Settling In
So Aunt Keri came to visit Thursday and gave us all sorts of helpful advise on raising a boy. She is our new hero! We enjoyed visiting to her and are thankful to her for giving us much needed rest. After she left we thought we'd see if Noah liked to swing. Apparently not yet. He likes the swing, but only if it isn't moving! :)
